Cedar Island Lake real estate and lake information

Cedar Island Lake is 134,144, or 169 acres (depending on which source you trust).  Cedar Island Lake is not a round lake. I would say it is more like a u-shaped lake with many fingers going off in different directions.  There are canals and little bays that many lake front homes are situated on.  On those little bays and canals you get the pleasure of living on the water but with little boat noise and no boat traffic.  Cedar Island Lake Oakland County is a all sports lake.  It would be classified as a small lake.   Like most of Michigan inland lakes lake traffic during the week is quiet.  During the weekend all the Cedar Island homeowners come out to play on the lake. 

Brendel Lake real estate and lake information

Brendel Lake does have a neighborhood association that has a small park and beach access for some homes that are not on the lake.  There is no DNR public access or no public beach. Brendel Lake is a relatively narrow lake with 5 bays that are finger like.  It isn't a large lake but it is big enough to ski on.  One of the residents told me it was a quiet lake.  Brendel Lake feeds to Mud Lake and Lake Neva. 

Tull Lake real estate and lake information

Tull Lake is a round lake with quite a few different small bays.  It also has 3 small islands on the lake.  Two of them are on the main lake and one is in one of the bays. Tull Lake, White Lake, Michigan is a private all-sports lake that is relatively small.  If you are looking for a quiet lake this may the lake for you.  It does not allow jet skis on the lake. The majority of the boats on the lake are pontoons, though there are some skiers and wakeboarders out there. Tull Lake is relatively shallow with the deepest spot about 10 - 12' deep. Tull Lake is an ideal kayaking lake too!  There are lots of little coves and islands to go around.  And not too much boat traffic to creat big waves.

Oxbow Lake real estate and lake information

Oxbow Lake has a very large population of swans.  There is a bar on the lake called Spraders on the Lake.  The southern part of the lake runs right along Elizabeth Lake Rd.  So there are quite a few homes right on Elizabeht Lake Rd. Oxbow Lake is part of the Huron River Chain.  It is fed upstream by Tull Lake and Pontiac Lake.  The run off from the lake flows into Cedar Island Lake. Oxbow Lake is fairly deep.  It has four deep holes of 43', 59', 64', an 72' deep.  Much of the lake is over ten foot deep. It is about a mile long and a 1/3 of a mile wide in the large part of the lake.
