Bruin Lake homes for sale

Bruin Lake, Gregory, MI.  Bruin Lakeis a 136 acres all sports lake located in Washtenaw County MI.  In the deepest point Bruin Lake is 48 ft deep.  It is both spring fed and Woodburn lake feeds it also.  Bruin Lakeis part of a chain of 7 lakes.  The other six lakes are Blind Lake, Half Moon Lake, and Highland Lake, Patterson Lake, Watkins Lake, and Woodburn Lake.  You can take a motor boat for a long ways on this chain.

What is great about Bruin Lake is that is it surrounded by state land.  I guesstimate that over 50% of the lake front property is owned by the State.  I also heard that there is a boy scout camp on the lake.  Local residents say it is a very quiet lake with good fishing.

 Because there is so much state land around Bruin Lake there is only about a dozen homes on the lake.  It is a relatively quiet lake because of the limited number of lake residents.  There are no mega mansions on the lake.  Just normal homes.  Some of them very well kept.  I like Bruin Lake myself because it reminds me of being up north.  I helped one of my clients buy a house on Bruin Lake in 2010 and I fell in love with it like so many other local lakes.  

Bruin Lake is located Washtenaw County MI.  It is West of Glenbrook Rd, South of Doyle Rd, E of Hadley Rd. and North of North Territorial Rd.  From Ann Arbor or Brighton it is about a 30 minute ride.  From the city of Detroit it is probably about 75 minutes.
