 Many people are unfamiliar with Canton MI or Canton Township MI.  Metro Detroiters use both those names but they are one and the same community.  If you have a Michigan relocation in your future Canton is a town you should check out. 

Canton Township officials have carefully planned and executed the growth of Canton.  It has grown quickly from a farming community to a place where people want to live.  With homes ranging from $150,000 to up to $450,000 there is a home style and size for any potential Metro Detroit home buyer.

The township has a total area of 36.0 square miles and they estimate the population is over 86,000 residents. 

Canton Golf Courses 

Canton has two golf courses. Pheasant Run Golf Club is a great public 27-hole course covers more than 300 acres.  Fellows Creek Golf Club has 27 holes over three unique nine-hole courses, which are played in three eighteen-hole combinations.
