Do you think these ducks are cute?

Michigan real estate If so you are like 100% of my women buyers and 50% of my men buyers.  So what does this have to do with Metro Detroit real estate or Canton real estate or any real estate you ask?  Well today I was taking a Michigan relocation buyer today out.  We walked into a house and saw stuffed ducks and pheasants throughout the house.  Her comment to me was "poor defenseless ducks".

She was turned off by the display.  Many people do not like to see stuffed animals in a house.  So if you are a hunter, have stuffed animals in your house and want to put it up for sale.... Put the animals away.

The goal of putting your house up for sale is to

sell it

  • then the easiest way to sell a home is to appeal to the greatest number of home buyers.  So when you have stuffed animal heads and trophies out you reduce the number of home buyers that like the house.  So you don't care if you turn people off because you are proud of the heads and you are going to stand up for hunters rights.

Wrong Answer!!! if you want to sell your house.

Many Metro Detroit Homes are taking over 6 months to sell.  Some Metro Detroit homes are only getting one looker or buyer through a month.  Can you afford to turn off any Home buyer in this Metro Detroit real estate market?

I don't think so and I think you'll agree it is the best move to box up your trophies that you treasure

I take too many Michigan home buyers out.  I am constantly showing houses.

I SEE THE SAME REACTION BY WOMEN TIME AFTER TIME TO STUFFED ANIMALS.

I have actually had a buyer run out of the house after seeing 4 trophy African heads on a wall.  Her quote to me was "I don't care if it was the perfect house for me, all I'll ever remember in that room would be those eyes staring at me"

So when listing your Metro Detroit home for sale do yourself a favor and appeal to the greatest number of buyers.  You won't regret it.
