I have some clients that are buying a piece of Novi Real Estate and I want to share this first time home buyer tip with you.  Don't procrastinate and there are no re-do's.

I had some young clients that really want this Novi home but it needs a lot of work.  Well we had a home inspection done on the home and they were satisfied with the results when they were at the home inspection.  I talked to them after the home inspection and they said they wanted to move forward with the purchase of the home.

That was on Tuesday.

                       Wednesday went by.

                                                      Thursday went by.

                                                                                Friday at about 5;30 they called.

They had finally gotten around to reading the home inspection.  They said they were busy the previous two days.  They were out shopping one day and when they got back they were tired.  So finally three days later they read the inspection and then they got nervous.

The issue is that they no longer had the right to back out of the deal or ask for any changes.  They had two days to do that per the contract.  There is no changing your mind, because you didn't take the time.  They were just nervous they told me later that night.  But if there really was an issues besides nerves they would have been in trouble.

So when you do a home inspection.  Think hard and read the home inspection right away.  Delaying could cost you.

So my first time home buyer tips is don't procrastinate....your Novi home purchase is more important than going to the gym or going shopping.  You have to take care of business.
