If you are going out shopping for a home you should dress comfortable.  If you are going out in the winter be sure to dress warmly.  Many times home owners turn down the heat.  Almost all of Wayne County and Oakland County foreclosures have no heat at all!  They shut off the gas and electricity in most foreclosures.

But if you are going into homes that the owners live in them, you may be asked to take off your shoes.  So wear slip on shoes.  Don't wear knee high boots, don't wear shoes or boots that need a lot of lacing.  Be comfortable and wear slip on shoes.
