I got an email from an internet surfer asking "I would like more pictures of this home, can you ask the listing agent if they have more photos.   Many times there is only one photo.  These are the 2 reasons why most of the time there is only one outside photo.

1.)  Foreclosure listing agents usually don't go the house.  They have people that secure it and maintain it.  They don't have time to mess with pictures.   So foreclosure agents don't take more than one pictures unless it is a very nice home.   They want to get the metro Detroit home buyer into the home.

2.)  The other reason is that home has issues.  It may not be a foreclosure, it may just be a normal home.  The home may be outdated.  It has nothing good to show.  So the listing agent wants to get you into the home.  That's why the listing agent does it.  I as a listing agent want you to take the time to see the home.  If it is ugly inside why would any listing agent put pictures on the internet.  You as a buyer would rule it out without really seeing the home first hand.  The listing agent has a better chance of selling the home with more people going through the house.  More people the better chance of somebody liking the house.  Sometimes a person will over look the "ugliness" of a home if it has the basics of what they want.  The home may have the "ideal" layout, or the "ideal" location, or "ideal" yard.

As a buyer's agent you never know what a buyer really wants.  So it may be worth the trip to see the house.
