Lake Orion lake front homes and real estateLake Orion lake front homes for sale are a bargain! I went out yesterday looking at lake front homes on Lake Orion and I was surprised at how many home bargain there were. I was finding nicely updated 2000 + square foot Lake Orion homes in the $200,000 - $350,000 price range. What was really nice was they were nicely updated. Lately I have seen some Oakland County lakefront homes that were absolute dives. They had major issues that required major money and time to fix. They had rotting floors, they were small, they needed major updating. And they were in the $250,000 range. But it was different yesterday when I was out with prospective buyer looking at Lake Orion lakefront homes. We saw a beautiful quad level home that was on one of Lake Orion's canals. It had a beautiful master suite. The bathrooms had marble, and granite. The whole house was upscale. Nice landscaping and a sandy beach to top it off. I saw a Lake Orion lake front foreclosure that was beautiful too. It was lake front property but actually sat across the road. This Lake Orion foreclosure had a beautiful family room that had large windows that gave a beautiful view of Lake Orion. There was an updated granite kitchen too. The outside needed some landscaping work but it had a good sized backyard too. Out of the seven Lake Orion homes we looked at there was only one that I would say was bad news. The rest were from good to excellent shape. So if you are looking for waterfront property I would check out Lake Orion. I would say that you would get more for your money on a big all sports lake than other lakes such as Cass Lake, Union Lake, or Walled Lake. There are deals in some Lake Orion lake front homes for sale right now as compared to some other Oakland County Lakefront homes Russ Ravary your Metro Detroit real estate agent
