Lake Orion water front real estate  (Oakland County MI) is a bargain I believe.  For being a big all sports lake, Lake Orion water front homes in my mind are reasonably priced at this time.  Lake Orion is a 470 acre all sports public lake.  There is a boat ramp at the west end of the Village of Lake Orion, Oakland county. It is a cement ramp and there is parking for 34 vehicles. The boat launch is on Indianwood Rd West of M-24.

What I like about the lake is that is almost split in half by a long peninsula that is about 3/4 the length of the lake.  It is like having two good sized lakes side by side.  Then the lake has 5 fingers that make the lake more enjoyable.  I myself hate round lakes that you just go round and round.  Lake Orion gives the boater more variety.  There are even 5 islands on Lake Orion.
