 I hope you get some information from my Livonia first time home buyer tips - how many Livonia homes should I see before I buy?

As a Livonia first time home buyer don't let any Livonia real estate agent tell you that you should be able to buy a home after looking at 5, 7, or even 25 homes. I have had first time home buyers look at 60 - 70 homes before they bought. Sure no real estate agent really wants to look at that many homes. But my first time home buyers were looking for a certain type home that fit their needs. It's not my job to coerce you into buying a home within a certain number of homes because it is taking too much time.  Gas isn't that expensive

But on the other hand don't let that home that you lbe bought by somebody else because you "can't" buy after only seeing 3 homes. I have had people buy a home after only seeing two homes. It's been over six years and they still love the house. It was the right home for them.

My wife Marianne used to take a long time to make decisions. It would drive me crazy sometimes, so I understand that. Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions in your life.  So I am patient with first time home buyers. But as a Livonia first time home buyer you have to realize that their is no perfect house. You will get frustrated. Sometimes you can not put all your "wants" together in a home. You will walk away after a day of showings and say "if only we could put this house on that wooded lot", or "if we only could put that finished basement in the home with the great family room." Unfortunately we can't. At some point you have to make the best decision possible out of the homes you have seen. That perfect house doesn't always exist except in your mind, or when you build it from scratch.

So that is my answer to any Livonia first time home buyer how many homes should I see? See as many as necessary for you to make a solid decision. Don't let any Livonia real estate agent tell you how many you should see. I have heard of real estate agents "firing" a customer because they were flighty on what they wanted and could never make a decision.

So if you are a Livnia first time home buyer here is my tip. Write down what you want in a home and talk it over with your real estate agent. Ask them if it is possible to buy a home like that in your price range? You can't buy a 2400 square foot move in ready Livonia colonial for a $100,000. It's not realistic. So listen to your Livonia real estate agent on what is possible and hopefully you will find a home before you become tired and stressed out over the search.
