Novi home buyer tips - why that Novi home is gone

Here is a Novi home buyer tip, I guess I'm trying to explain why the Novi home is gone.

I had a Novi home buyer call about a Novi home. It was showing active on the MLS system, but when I called the listing office they said it was sold. We couldn't see it. In the "perfect" real estate world the agent should mark the listing "pending" or "CCS" once they bottom line the purchase agreement. But unfortunately some agents don't do that either out of laziness, out of being too busy, or just trying to get more buyer calls on the property.

So this property was actually sold after I inquired to the agent for my buyer. Sadly he just was browsing through listings and came across it on another site. Many times home buyers get upset that this "perfect" house they found is sold. Some real estate sites sometimes have listings that have sold 3 or 4 months ago.

I would be upset too if I saw a house on line, then found out that the Novi home had been sold 6 months ago. But it happens sometimes. Sometimes the secondary sites out there get the listings second hand and have no way of updating their site.
