Novi Real Estate

What is Novi Mi like?  If you are moving from out of state you may not know what the City of Novi is like.  What are the characteristics of Novi subdivisions?  What do the homes look like?  If you are buying Novi real estate you want to get the feel of the city and it's neighborhoods.

This is what I will try to do here. 

Novi real estate starts in the price range of $100,000 ranch homes with no basement up to luxury homes in the $5,000,000 range. Around the area of 10 Mile and Meadowbrook there are many of these ranches.  Novi doesn't have a huge number of bungalows.  If you were looking at Novi real estate you would say the majority of the home styles were colonials and ranches.  Of course there are many Novi condos.  Some are converted apartment buildings and some are true condos.

 Novi has many newer modern colonials that have been built from the 1990's to last year.  They range from 2500 to 4500.  Some with large lots, some that have less room.

Some examples of Novi real estate.  Many Novi homeswere built in the 1970 and 1980's though there are many new subdivisions that have been built in the last ten years.  These Novi Colonials range from 1600 to 2500 square ft.

Of course Novi has big beautiful mansions on estate sized lots.

Like all cities there have been many Novi foreclosures in the last few years.  Smart buyers and investors regularly search Novi foreclosures and Novi short sales for bargains.  Like all Metro Detroit homes Novi home prices have fallen dramatically in the last few years.

I hope this helped you see what you might expect when you look at Novi homes for sale.  Novi real estate is great for the first time homebuyer or for the person looking for an upper end Neighborhood.
