Here is a little bit about the City of Novi MI.  

Novi runs from 8 mile road up to 14 mile rd with easy access to M-5, I-275, I-696.  The easy access to the freeways makes it easy to get to Lansing, Detroit, the east side Suburbs.  If you are thinking of relocating to Michigan,  Novi is one of the many cities to look at.  A school system that consistently get good test results, a beautiful cosmopolitan city with lots of shopping and restaurants. 
    Novi became a city in 1969.  Novi did city wide census in 2007.  Novi's population as of 2007 was 52,231.  Novi covers 31.3 square miles.

Novi Location
Novi is bordered by Farmington Hills on the East, Lyon Township and Wixom on the West, Northville and Northville Township on the South.  Walled Lake and Commerce Township borders Novi to the north.  I-96 cuts through Novi and I-275 borders it to the south.  


Novi Schools
Novi has 1 high school, 1 middle school, 6 elementary schools, 1 pre-school.  The school district for Novi is Novi School District.  Novi's first high school graduating class earned their diplomas in 1969.
