 There are a lot of great deals in Oakland County MI foreclosures.  Banks are pricing many foreclosures at or below our current market prices.  I was in a Stonewater subdivision foreclosure (actually Wayne County) last week.  The home was about 4200 square ft.  The average sales price in Northville was over $500,000 for that square footage but the bank had priced the home at $425,000!!!  It needed a little work but it was a steal even at $450,000.  (Sorry about using a Wayne County foreclosure but it was a perfect example.

Buying foreclosures is sometimes trying because you can go into 20 Oakland County foreclosures that are totally trashed before you find one that meets your criteria.  But there are bargains out there especially if you are willing to look beyond the cosmetic issues.  Or if you are ready to tackle a fixer upper there are some real bargains.
