Oxbow Lake is one of White Lake Township's bigger lakes.  It is great for skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing or any all sport activity.  Oxbow Lake has a surface area of about 270 acres and the deepest spot is 72 ft deep.  It is a great lake to have a weekend getaway on or a year round home.

There are about 4 deep holes in the Oxbow Lake, but there are also some areas in the main lake that are less than 5 foot deep so yo the need to learn the lake so you don't tear up your prop.  I would say the shape of the lake looks like a whale with a wide open mouth.  The main part of the lake is the head and then there is a bay that goes off to the southwest.

Oxbow Lake is part of the Huron River chain.  It is fed from the north and then feeds out to the south to Cedar Island Lake. And no you can't take a speed boat or pontoon boat from Oxbow Lake to Cedar Island Lake  

It is south of M-59 and east of Teggerdine  So there is easy access for anybody working along the M-59 corridor.  Some of the north side of the lake is undeveloped because the lake is so close to M-59.

 Oxbow Lake is an private all sports lake with NO DNR Access.
