Farmington Hills Police DepartmentFarmington Hills Police Department Participates in Controlled Substance Take-Back Initiative On Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Farmington Hills Police Department will partner with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to coordinate a one-day Controlled Substance Take-Back Initiative. This collaborative effort will safely and anonymously remove potentially dangerous controlled substances (any medication requiring a prescription) from homes across the nation. A collection box provided by the DEA will be located inside Farmington Hills Police Headquarters at 31655 Eleven Mile Road. The drop off and pick up of pharmaceuticals will be supervised by officials from both the DEA and the Police Department. Pharmaceuticals do not need to be in original labeled packaging, any type of container is acceptable. Residents of any city can use the collection box at the Farmington Hills Police Department. The national Controlled Substance Take-Back Initiative will provide an opportunity for the public to get rid of pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications for safe destruction by law enforcement officers. Disposal of the materials will be accomplished in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. A recent National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) estimates there are currently 6.2 million non-medical users of psychotherapeutic drugs in the United States. The NSDUH survey further indicates that there are more Americans abusing psychotherapeutic drugs than the number of cocaine, heroin, and hallucinogen abusers combined. Expired, unused, or unwanted controlled substances in our homes are a potential source of supply that fuels this abuse and are an unacceptable risk to public health and safety. For more information, contact Police Investigations at 248-871-2770. Plymouth real estate - Our Annual Pumpkin Give AwayHere at our office in Plymouth Michigan we have an annual Pumpkin give away. All the real estate agents at Remerica Hometown One come in and unload and stack pumpkins. We invite our clients and put up signs for anybody to come and get a pumpkin. People stop in off the street, and some of the local businesses tell people to come down and get their free pumpkin from Remerica Hometown One.
I think I'll take this one. It is just the right size! I think he is excited with his find
We had the pumpkin give away at our Remerica Hometown One office on Five Mile Rd just west of Sheldon Rd. This pumpkin pickin is hard work, so we thought we would take a break with some of the free cider and donuts. I don't know who is more excited.... her with her pumpkin or him with his balloon? We had face painting and a clown for the kids. It was a fun day here in Plymouth. You will have to join us with your family next year. Have a great day!!!!
