Plymouth MI Fall Festival

Plymouth MI events

When relocating to Metro Detroitor choosing between Livonia real estate, Farmington Real Estate, or Plymouth real estate you look at all the characteristics of the city.  All of these cities are great to live in.

One of the characteristics of Plymouth Mi is that they have a very active downtown.  The have the Plymouth Ice Festival in the winter.  The Plymouth Art in the Park is in July around Kellogg Park.  The have a Chili Cook-off and they have the Plymouth Fall Festival.

http://www.detroitmichiganrealestatehomes.com/real-estate/Plymouth-Michigan

The Fall Festival draws thousands of people to downtown Plymouth.  The festival grew out of a family picnic sponsored by the rotary years ago.  But it has become much more than that.  Young and old come to the city to help support the local civic groups.  The Plymouth Fall Festival is a fund raiser that helps many charities and local organizations.  It helps local organizations raise money for their local needs. Below is a list of the food booths.

                                                        http://www.detroitmichiganrealestatehomes.com/real-estate/Plymouth-Michigan

The profits go to support their programs.

There is music throughout the day, and the are lots of carnival rides, carnival games for young and old.   On Saturday there usually is a pancake breakfast, and a all you can eat spagetti dinner.  On Sunday there is the famous Plymouth Rotary Chicken dinner.  Thousands of chicken dinners are sold every year at the Plymouth Fall festival.

There is a car show, bingo, and a 5k race.

Why I love Plymouth Michigan

Plymouth Michigan is a vibrant town.  A city with an active downtown and active lower town where people come to shop, to eat, to just walk around.  Downtown Plymouth Michigan is a place where people come to walk in Kellog Park.  A place to get just about any food or drink.  They have coffee shops, Irish Pubs, Italian restaurants, corner bars.  A place to relax.

                                        http://www.russravary.com

The Downtown Development Authority and Plymouth Old Town Development are working hard to keep downtown Plymouth MI alive.  And they are succeeding.  They are organizing and supporting local events such as the Plymouth Ice Festival, the Fall Festival, the Chili Cookoff, and the Arts and Crafts show.   Sometimes these events draws thousands of people that support and keep Downtown Plymouth a "place to be" .

Many of the homes surrounding the downtown are historic homes.

My Home selling experience in Plymouth, Michigan

I received an email today asking me about my background as a Realtor and my home selling experience in Plymouth Michigan.

I sat down and responded this way.

My office is right in Plymouth, MI.  I have been a real estate agent for over 6 years and I know Plymouth and Plymouth Township real estate very well.  Overall The metro Detroit real estate market has been hammered.  Homes are selling better than last year.  Plymouth homes sellers will be competing with foreclosures which account for 30 - 50% of home sales per month.  There are 303 home for sale or lease in the communities.  Average time on the market for Plymouth and Plymouth Township homes for sale  are 204 days.

The homes that are selling are updated and ready to move into.  Or priced very very competitively.  Plymouth and Plymouth Township are both desirable upscale communities.  I don't know where your clients home is but there are are few subs that have been built in the last ten years that have some external issues.  They were built up against highways or cell towers.  It was fine when it was a brand new home, but some of those homes are taking over a year to sell.  And at a big discount.  Here is one of my first videos on Plymouth
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfzQgiqhLN8

If you put in Plymouth real estate you will see I am the first Michigan realtor to pop up.  This is just one more spot that will help sell your home.  I get out of state buyers emailing me about Plymouth homes for sale.

If you would like more information  feel free to email me.  What I can promise you is that I will work hard for your client and keep him up to date on everything that is happening.  I am also very good at going through and telling the client on what needs to be done to help the Plymouth home sell.

Plymouth Townshiphas one of the lowest milleage rates in Wayne County.  Plymouth has a great historic downtown with lots of festivals like the Ice festival, Art in the Park, the Chili cookoff and the Fall festival.  Great stores and restaurants make downtown Plymouth a great community to live in and visit.Russ Ravary

Plymouth Michigan Kellog park and farmers market

Metro Detroit Real Estate

Downtown Plymouth Michigan is a great place to go on the weekends in the summer.  On Friday night they have music in the park. You can stroll the shops and unique boutiques

http://www.detroitmichiganrealestatehomes.com Kellogg Park Fountain.  A great place to relax while walking your dog or taking your little one for a stroller ride.  On a weekend there will be young people, seniors, dog walkers, strollers, young kids in love all enjoying the shade and Kellog Park.

After you stroll around you can grab a bite to eat at one of Plymouth's bars.  The Box Bar has been around for years and still serves up a great burger.  The Box Bar has hundreds of different beers on tap in the bottle.  Domestic and imported.  Stop in and sit a while.

The farmers market is there to show for flowers and all sorts of goodies.

Here are some condos that overlook the park and downtown Plymouth Michigan.  You can walk out your door right down to Starbucks for a coffee, or to the Box Bar for a burger.

My quote of the day:

There is no need to go Up North or anywhere else to find peace and happiness.  You will find that deep place of silence right in your room, your garden, your bathtub, or right here in Kellogg Park, Plymouth Michigan. Take the time for a stroll and relaxation.
