Turkish thank youI had helped find a Canton Township condofor a young Turkish couple that had just moved from Canada back in April. They sent me a nice thank you via email. But was even nicer is just last week they invited my wife and I to their condofor dinner. It was an excellent dinner of Turkish food. They had stuffed grape leaves, chicken, rice, and quite a few other Turkish delicacies. It was great my wife and I learned so much about Turkish culture. We shared with them the fun places to go in Michigan. They are all excited to "go north" latter in the fall to watch the fall colors. But the bottom line is that we have gained some new friends and learned a lot about Turkey all in the process of helping somebody new to Michigan and new to our country. We got the highest price in the neighborhoodI recently sold a home for a family that has moved back to Japan. They had moved here over 10 years ago to send their boys to the University of Michigan. We got the home ready for sale. As most people know the metro Detroit real estate market has taken a pounding. Many Metro Detroit homes are sitting on the market for months and months.
We sat down together and I told them what they needed to do to get the home ready to sell. The home sold in under 30 days at the highest price for the subdivision in the last 10 months! The homeowner had already gone back to Japan. We had closed with a power of attorney with her son signing for her. But she sent me a short and simple thank you for selling her Brownstown home.
Hi Russ,
A thank you like that means a lot to me. So whether you are selling Livonia real estate, a Brownstown home, or selling any Metro Detroit real estate email me at info@/RussRavary.com http://www.detroitmichiganrealestatehomes.com/004198 Posted on Aug 17, 2008 @ 9:34 pm by russ.ravary - View Profile

Russ Helped sell our house quick!Metro Detroit Real Estate testimonialLivonia MiA year ago my husband and I started looking for a Metro Detroit home with the help of Russ Ravary. We thought this search would take a long time. With the technology we had available we were successful after 3 months. It took us over a year to find the house the last house we bought. We know what we wanted exactly. Russ used the Internet and e-mail to keep us up to date on the houses that had just gone on the market, the length of time they were on the market, and all the public record data. I never thought I would have a house on a lake with all these features My biggest obstacle was putting our house up for sale. When we put the bid on the new house and it was accepted, Russ said it was time to put the old "For Sale" sign up. I wasn't ready! First we hadn't told any of our neighbors, second we weren't quite done putting the finishing touches on the house and third we were going on vacation and I didn't want people in the house while we were gone. It took over a week for me to be convinced that this was the right thing to do. After several talks at our kitchen table I said yes. Russ knew the faster we got the house up for sale in the spring the better our chances were to sell it. The sign went up the day after we left for vacation. I was worried on Sunday because that was the first (and only) Open House. On Saturday we were on our way to the airport to come home, Russ called us with the news...there was a bid on the house! I couldn't believe it the house was sold in a week!!!! Homes in our market were taking over six months to sell. People always ask what we did to sell the house so quickly. My answer is to trust your Sales Agent. He/she is in this business and deals with it everyday so you need to trust his/her expertise. Some of the advice we got was to get rid of the clutter, make it less personal and the big one remove the flowered wallpaper. Russ was forthright in giving advice on how to make the home more saleable. Sometimes I did not like what Russ had to say about the house, but we did what he said. And it worked. We sold it in 7 days for 97% of the selling price. It was a combination of luck and doing the rights things to get the home ready for sale. Russ came through 3 times telling us what to do. Luckily, I (we) listened to what Russ say. I'm so grateful for everything he did for us, we are now enjoying our new home...sorry Russ for making you a little crazy! If you are looking for a home in the Metro Detroit area I would recommend Russ to anyone that wants to sell their home in this tough real estate market. It may be tough to swallow but Russ will tell you the truth about the Metro Detroit Real Estate Market and what you have to do to sell your home http://www.detroitmichiganrealestatehomes.com/003DD4 Posted on Jul 07, 2008 @ 10:43 pm by russ.ravary - View Profile

Thanks RussRuss, I want to thank you for all the work you did on helping me lower my property taxes. I got a notice from the city that they were lower my SEV by $22,000. It is not a much as I would like, but it is something. I am saving money. I really want you to know that I appreciate you pulling all the comparables and putting together that CMA for me. The city said I was one of the most prepared. Over the years you have saved me a lot of money. When I did my mortgage back in 2003 you got me a rate that all my friends are envious about. I will never have to refinance with that low rate. I am glad I have you in my corner. If my friends or co-workers ever need a real estate agent or mortgage person you’ll be the first one I’ll recommend. Here is a dinner certificate to show my appreciate for all the money you have saved me over the years.
