Royal Crown homes and SubdivisionI just helped my clients sell their Royal Crown home. We closed on 22751 FOXMOOR DR in Royal Crown subdivision last Friday for $325,000. It was an well maintained home that did not have a finished basement. We got a great price for it. About a year before they put the home on the market they had called me to come over and look at their home. I walked through the home and told them what they should do. I told them to take down some of the wallpaper. What paint colors would help get the home sold, and what furniture to move out.
So before they put their Novi home up for sale they had a plan of what to fix and how to make their Novi home stand out. It worked as we sold the home in less than 30 days for their target price. It was a 3000 square foot Royal Crown colonial that was built in 1990. The issue we had was this Royal Crown hom e was built as home styles were changing. During the late 1980's and early 1990's homes had open floor plans and soaring cathedral ceilings. My clients home had the older style of home that were built in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. So Novi home buyers had the choice between an old style home or the newer style of homes for $20 - $30,000 more. We were a big well maintained Novi home competing against the new style of homes. But we found a home buyer that loved the area and school system. Royal Crown homes are in Northville School District even though Novi High School is across the street. What is nice is that the elementary school is right in the subdivision just a short walk from the house.
