West Bloomfield home inspectionsA West Bloomfield home inspection is very, very important to do whether it is a brand new house or an old house. The cost of a West Bloomfield home inspection should always out weigh the costs of a missed repair. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE AN HOME INSPECTION DONE and DON'T LET just a relative do it. And don't let the cheapest guy do it. Having a relative do it is bad news usually unless they are qualified. If somebody has been a builder, or in the building trades for a while then maybe they should do a good job. But I still prefer somebody that does home inspections every day. My story about hiring the least expensive home inspector is: My client was very cost conscious. He had money, It wasn't like he was broke or needed every dollar to close. He was just cost conscious. So he thought the list of 10 West Bloomfield home inspection companies prices I gave him were too high. So he went to Craig's List and found himself a West Bloomfield home inspector. The guy showed up about 20 minutes late. He came in raggedy jeans with several large holes in them. (Not that has anything really to do with it) But I feel if you are in business you should dress the part. He didn't inspect the roof or the attic. He didn't even bring a ladder. He didn't even check each individual electrical plug. I guess I could go on for a while about what he didn't inspect, but I want to keep this article short. He had no builder's license, and he had no training in home inspections. But yet my client hired him because he was cheaper than everbody else. Unfortunately he got a very poor inspection on a $425,000 house. A cheap incomplete inspection. I don't care which home inspector you use, but I want you to hire a good one. So ask them about their training, their background. Every year my buyers do back out of homes because of an inspection. I'm glad it happens because no home owner should get into a home that is going to be a money pit or that has a re-occurring problem. You don't need that as a home owner. Getting a good West Bloomfield home inspection is important. That is why I give out a list of home inspectors that past clients have used. The clients have said they were very happy with the inspection and the thoroughness of the inspector. To me it doesn't matter whether the house passes or not. I make no money off referring a home inspector. I want you to buy a home, but I want you to buy a good home. I would rather the problem show up now, than 2 months after you bought it. I want you to be happy in your home and to be able to afford it. As I tell people....when I see you in the supermarket I want to be able to talk to you, not run and hide. I'm in this for the long haul. Once you have the facts from the inspector then you can make a sound decision on whether to buy that home you absolutely love. That's why I don't want you to go with the cheapest inspector that has no training. (or has no business inspecting homes) That's why I give out a list of proven home inspectors. If the guy isn't willing to crawl up into the attic, or willing to take 2 hours to look over a 3000 square foot West Bloomfield home. Then in my book he's not doing a good job. Just my thoughts. http://www.detroitmichiganrealestatehomes.com/005703 Posted on Sep 03, 2011 @ 4:30 pm by russ.ravary - View Profile
