Reviews income, liabilities and available funds, and considers the type of mortgage you plan to use, the area where you want to purchase a home, and the closing cost that are likely. Simply put affordability analysis is when you sit down with your mortgage lender and they review your credit and income. This is one of the most import phases of the home buying process. Even though the mortgage lender says you can financially afford a big payment, it is up to you to realistically sit down and decide how much you can truly afford.
