White Lake is located in White Lake Township, Oakland County MI.  The lake is located north of M-59 and south of White Lake Rd.  East of Duck Lake Rd and West of Ormond Rd.  About 12 miles west of Pontiac MI.

White Lake's shoreline is completely developed.  There are approxiamately 600 White Lake waterfront properties.  There is even a small restaurant/bar on the lake. (White Lake Inn) located on Jackson Blvd on White Lake's north east corner.   Mitchell's Marina is located across the street from the public boat launch on Duck Lake Rd.  You can rent pontoons, marina slips, purchase your fishing supplies, and some snacks.

White Lake Oakland County MI general information.   White Lake is roughly 1 1/2 mile long from north to south.  And is between 1/3 and 1/2 mile wide in most areas (from east to west).  Most of the northern end of the lake is less than 8 ft deep.  Much of the southern half end of the lake is over 20 foot deep.  White Lake is part of the Huron River watershed that drains into Lake Erie.  The Oakland County Sheriff patrol enforces the boating activities ensuring a safe lake experience.  You can find them most weekends patrolling the lake. 

White Lake Public access   Located off Duck Lake Rd on the west side of White Lake.    It has a hard ramp with parking for 18 vehicles.  Has toilet facilities.  There is a charge to use the boat launch.
