White Lake sunsets Highland Township Oakland County MichiganHere are some White Lake front sunset photos I took in Highland Township MI. White Lakeis a 540 acre all sports lake that has public access. White Lake in it's deepest point is only 32 feet deep. Most of the lake is about 10 ft. There is even a sunken island which can ruin your prop if you don't know where it is at. White Lakeis a great lake which has a slalom course during the week when there is less traffic. They also have a bass fishing tournament quite often too.
White Lake has heavy boat traffic on the weekends, but like most Southeastern Michigan lakes there is much less traffic during the week. If you get out on the lake before ten you can get some smooth water to ski, kneeboard, and wakeboard on.
Nothing like sitting on White Lake watching the sun go down after a fun filled day of boating! The sun sets on White Lake on the Highland Township side.
White Lake actually straddles two different township. Both White Lake Township and Highland Township. The kids on the lake go to Huron Valley Schools.
Even the swans are enjoying the sunset on White Lake in White Lake Township!
