Plymouth has taken great strides to keep it's downtown lively.  One of the way's it has kept it's downtown alive and helped keep people coming there is because of Plymouth MI Festivals.

Here are the Plymouth festivals

•  Plymouth Art in the Park usually the 2nd week in July
•  Plymouth Ice Carving Spectacular usually the 3rd weekend in January     
•  
•  Plymouth Fall Festival  Usually the 2nd weekend in September
•    
•  Plymouth Chili cookoff  Usually the first or second weekend in October.

These Plymouth festivals draw thousands of people to Kellogg Park and the surrounding streets.  Both city residents and people from all around Metro Detroit come to the Art in the Park, Ice spectacularw, and the fall festival.  It is a fun time for all..  The Fall Festival is a fund raiser for many different organizations in the area.

Art in the Park is the second largest art festival in the State of Michigan.  There are parades held downtown.  The Christmas tree lighting is held in Kellogg Park.
