Your offer isn't that greatI had a West Bloomfield seller that got a very low ball offer on their home. The negotiations didn't go far when the West Bloomfield home buyer dug his heels in. They wouldn't go over $325,000. So the deal died because my seller and the buyer were so far apart. Now two and a half weeks later we have 2 other offers on the table, and the first buyer has re-instated his last offer. His agent told me that if I can get my West Bloomfield sellers to come down quite a bit they would be ready to re-negotiate. But now they have basically eliminated themselves from even being invited in to give highest and best offer. The other two offers were already higher and my sellers don't want to deal with somebody that is sure to use the home inspection to get the price down. My sellers already have sized up the first buyer. They want a deal and going to be lower priced. So why should they waste their time with them. So next time you put in an offer on a West Bloomfield home think about your offer. If you insult the seller from the beginning they are going to be harder to deal with. So if you want the house don't insult the seller in the beginning.
